Just two weeks after the solemn opening of the Jubilee 2025, which took place on December 24, already 545,532 pilgrims from all over the world have passed through the Holy Door of St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican.

The jubilee is one of the most significant events of the Catholic Church and occurs only once every 25 years. With the beginning of the Jubilee Year of Hope 2025, believers may ask many questions: How can the jubilee contribute to my life of faith? What are the Holy Doors? What is a jubilee church? How can I participate in the jubilee if I do not go on pilgrimage to Rome?

The Holy Year 2025 will begin with the opening of the Holy Door of the Basilica of St. Peter in the Vatican on December 24, 2024, and will end with the closing of this door on January 6, 2026, during the Feast of the Epiphany.
