The Roman Catholic Church, parish of Medzibrod, is pleased to inform the general public that thanks to the generous financial support from the Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic in 2024, provided to our parish in the amount of €15,000, we have started the Complex Renewal of the Roman Catholic Church of St. Mary Magdalene in Ľubietová. In the first stage of the work, we conducted architectural-historical research, art-historical research, archaeological research, and necessary documentation, construction-technical assessments, and assessments of the actual state of the cultural monument. Based on the grant agreement from the state budget through the budget of the Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic for 2024, number: MK-6109/2023-194, the Roman Catholic Church, parish has committed to co-finance the implementation of the renewal project by a minimum of 5% of the provided grant amounting to €750.
The church of St. Mary Magdalene, which is listed in the Central Register of Cultural Monuments under number 58/1, which became the subject of the grant from the Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic for the protection, renewal, and development of cultural heritage, is located in the built-up area of Ľubietová at parcel C-KN 314, on J. Kňazovického street, house number 367.
First, it was necessary to carry out a topographic and altimetric survey of the national cultural monument, which was implemented by Ing. Beáta Smolková and which became the basis for further preparatory construction-technical assessments and heritage research. The static documentation was prepared by the statics engineer Ing. Štefan Hurňanský, and the moisture assessment and remediation proposal were carried out by Ing. Marián Hajtmaník. As part of the heritage research, architectural-historical research and art-historical research were conducted by art historian Mgr. Kristína Zvedelová, PhD., and the archaeological research was conducted by JUDr. Martin Kvietok.
As part of the work, it was necessary to make the required probes on the walls, floor of the church, and near the outer walls of the church.

The public is informed about the financial support for the Complex Renewal of the Roman Catholic Church of St. Mary Magdalene in Ľubietová – Stage 1 (expert assessments, research) by the Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic upon entering the church (on the church notice board and on the wall by the main entrance doors of the church) and also inside at the entrance doors of the church by displaying the logo of the Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic, which indicates the year of the project's financial support 2024, contract number: MK-6109/2023-194 and purpose: heritage research and documentation of the performed research, archaeological research, architectural-historical research, art-historical research, preparatory documentation, construction-technical assessments, assessment of the actual state of the cultural monument for which financial resources were spent.
