The Ostrava-Opava Diocese offers spiritual inspiration for every weekday of Lent for the third year in a row. This time, we can meditate on the Psalms in the parish, communities, and personal prayer. In connection with the Jubilee Year and the theme Pilgrims of Hope, these are the Psalms that sing about hope.

The Lent period begins on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.

I would like to offer you the activity Lent Drops again. This year's theme - THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS AND PILGRIMS OF HOPE.

The fourth major event of the Jubilee of Hope is dedicated to deacons, with nearly four thousand arriving in Rome from February 21 to 23. They will pass through the Holy Door and participate in a number of other accompanying programs. The jubilee will be concluded with a holy mass, presided over by the pro-prefect of the Dicastery for Evangelization, Archbishop Rino Fisichella, on Sunday, February 23, at St. Peter's Basilica.

The caroling of the eRko community from the Medzibrod parish during the Epiphany 2025 is part of the 30th anniversary of the Good News, organized by eRko as a public collection registered with the Ministry of Interior of the Slovak Republic under registration number 000-2024-032322 dated May 23, 2024, for the general good purpose of development cooperation and humanitarian aid. The theme of the Good News in 2025 is "Let's Spark the Stars of Hope."
